Track limited usage across fleet

Looking for a software solution for the following:

Company has 3 copiers. A B C
End User ID is allowed 500 copies per month

Is it possible to track the end user total usage across the fleet. This means if the user did

200 pages on A
100 pages on B
300 pages on C

Will the limit be reached across a fleet and NOT just on one copier?

Can a solution like PaperCut or something along those lines capture this information per user?

Do you need a 3rd party software to capture this info or can it be done inherently at the copier or web interface?

I'm not familiar with papercut, I would tend to think that Print Audit can do this. Can anyone else help with this?

Print Audit can do this. You are assigning a limit to the code. It would not matter where you printed to.

What are you trying to accomplish? Is there a specific request to capture all print volume by each user regardless of the device? Once the predetermined print volume is reached by the end user is the issue to have them not be able to print?

Larry....yes...the company would like to track a user with limited copies regardless of the copier being used. I know this can be done for EACH MFP but what about across a fleet? Looking for a total capture then once their limit is reached they cannot make another impression.

Vince....I was waiting for you to Chime in. I would like this to work with Canon products including the VarioPrint 110. Maybe Uniflow could do this but I wonder if Enterprise Management Console will work with the Accounting Plugin?

I know Canon does not like playing well with other solutions like Print Audit or Papercut. From what I know of Uniflow it is quite impressive though a tad bit pricy. There may be some built in utilities to use but from what you are saying you may to lean towards what has been discussed.

UniFLOW has a SMB edition that supports 500 users with both the statistics & Secure print module for CHEAP monsy. The Stats module will do what you need, and works with Prox cards, Mag swipe Cards, Pin Codes, even Dept IDs.
