Due to image quality, is recommended for transactional, transpromotional and direct mail applications.....Reminds me when I used to sell Riso and we made this disclaimer!!...Not great copy quality but if you are wanting something that is cheap and fast, we have it for you!!
I mentioned this on LinkedIn seems some One low level Kyocera peep disagreed with the word laid off. The point is those peeps don’t have a job which is terrible. Thanx for posting this and keepin is aware of what’s goin on!
Top three points I make when against Kyocera. #1. Take them color samples from your device and any Kyocera because the color output is sub par on all units. If you don’t have access to one look in your crm for an account you co-exist with Kyocera in. Or the next time you have a knock out make some samples and keep them in a binder. If color quality is important to the customer it will be a win. Another point is showing them you get what you pay for, meaning 3 tier color is what they have...
Copystar/Kyocera 7052ci and 8052ci are still current models as the 7353ci and 8353ci were just released. same goes the the 70/80ppm mono's. not sure when they will get discontinued but we can still order them as of today.
Yes. Kyocera Mobile Print is available with all Kyocera printers and mfps. This is a free app on google play and lstore or Itunes depending on if it is a droid or apple device that you are using. This is an onsite solution that uses your wireless network. 100% free is the key for this PRINT/SCAN app.
Good afternoon Art. Had a quick question for you. One of my new reps had asked what information I could give for his review on cold calling tips, instruction, and helps. He is looking for help in running a better cold call in the field. I thought this is a great question for Art. Looking forward to hearing your insights. Hey Jason: Thank you for joining!! I have the Kyocera pricing I needed. However, I will need it again in the future. We can do something then. But, we have a promo for a Premium/VIP. For each competitive (recent) quote or proposal that you email me, I will comp you a FREE month for each one. Will that work for you? Art
Yes I have sold a couple of these. For the price these are fantastic. My service manager is impressed which is hard to do. Dual side scanning is a definite selling point. The cost per page is going to be higher of course. I would say in the .015 black and white and .11 color to be safe (depending on your market of course). Not as good as say the 6535 per say but the machine is less than half the cost. If the run more than a couple thousand a month I would move them up to the 6535cidn. Let me...

What was stated to me was that their facilities manager product would be able to collect the tiered color billing and then report on it. All I heard was that @remote was going away. I was so surprised by the aspect of these new devices having the tiered that I did not even bother to ask about a replacement for @remote
I'm not sure about your source, but it's already in the Ricoh units, we found this about 4 months ago in the mpc305, the issue is getting it out of the system automatically for billing purposes. We use purpose software which can automatically cope with tiered billing.
Calums: Thanx for this, I see you're in the UK and the info I related to was that the tiered info came from a document there. My source was from Print Audit, but I wanted to make sure this was the case. We were talking about the latest upgrades to PA, and one of them was that their facility manager software is capable of taking those tiered color levels and putting them in a bucket so they could be billed. When you mention purpose software, what are you referring to? Thanx for the...
I've heard not that much except for something I heard is that since @ remote is going away Ricoh themselves does not have a program to extrapolate the billing. Again just something I hear, however Print Audits facility manager will do this as I understand.
Apparently, Ricoh Solutions guys aren't aware of this. I asked one of them, and he said there is an SP mode that has been around for generations that runs a report on clicks @ 3 different levels of coverage but that it's not for billing purposes.
Hey Guys, Few more questions. Anyone have any details on if the color CPC tiers are dealer-editable or pre-set and what the setting are? Similarly, are the CPCs set or dealer-editable? How is the coverage calculated, through device firmware or print audit or both? What devices is this available for?

O.K. I have found some information for you . Ricoh has introduced the 3 billing level since the MPC 2051 meaning all models after this introduction has these features ( MPC3001 .......) . Print Audit Facilities Manager can now detect and pick up these assignable threshold counters. Ricoh Dealer that are Premier Members or are using Facilities Manager can now compete with Xeorx and Kyocera promoting this type of billing. I have a brief set up how to for configuring the thresholds on Ricoh...
Paul: Do you have any marketing literature on this? This could be big for Ricoh Dealers and a large area of opportunity for Print Audit to sign up dealers that are using Print Fleet, FM Audit or other DCAs.
Be aware on this, we have been using this for over a year and the pit falls are. The percentage coverage is based on overall coverage not per toner, the biggest thing is the cost you offer it at, if 30% is in 0-5, 30% in the 6-10 and the 60% is above. What we have found is that the 60% and above is not just 11% coverage but 20-30%, so your copy cost doesnt cover this cost and you could lose money on the high end copy cost. The two lower tiers make you money but your margins are lower as 60%...
