It does seem like Ricoh is losing focus on it's hardware.  Even the new "10" series color machines appear to only be a slightly different color without much change.  They took a scan bed off their out-dated wide format machine, which is actually a decent move if the pricing is right, but it's still a 10+ year old print engine.  They're just coasting through.

@grizzlyadams  their price point is a joke and can't compete with on-line prices.  It's more than $1,000 higher than similar Epson and Canon models.  All because you can have add  a second roll?  Plus there is no stacker, paper rolls up and falls in the basket

When our Ricoh reps visit our office, all they want to do is talk about software that we have little or no market for and then when we do get a software opportunity Ricoh is so unresponsive and difficult to deal with that we throw our hands in the air in disgust.
