KYIV, Ukraine, Apr 28, 2014 (PR Newswire Europe via COMTEX) -- KYIV, Ukraine, April 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --

Softengi Software Development Company and JSC "Bank of Georgia" have completed one more cooperation stage to optimize the credit issuing system. As a result, the system performance has increased several times, allowing bank employees to create, process and store in a specialized document management system up to several million documents.

Softengi, a software developer from Ukraine, The 2014 Global Outsourcing 100 listed company and a part of Intecracy Group international IT-consortium, has started this cooperation stage with JSC "Bank of Georgia", the largest commercial bank in Georgia, in summer of 2013, when the bank faced the need to optimize the system of credits issuing with a growing number of customers and, accordingly, the volume of documents to process.

At the first stage of cooperation Softengi team successfully has transferred current credit issuing system of the bank to Microsoft SharePoint platform and expanded the business process document coordination between the users. A distinctive feature of this project, which lasted more than one year, was the absence of the Georgian language package for MS SharePoint. However, despite these difficulties, Softengi's specialists have managed to localize the system for the Georgian interface. At this stage, it was allowed to seamlessly process and store up to 20,000 documents in the specialized document management system. JSC "Bank of Georgia" is the largest commercial bank in Georgia with an ever growing number of customers and branches. To meet the needs of users it was required to modify the system considering the growing number of documents.

The performance improvement of the existing credit issuing system allowed JSC "Bank of Georgia" better and more quickly serve customers and improve the functionality of the bank business processes between groups of business process participants. In turn, Softengi team proved that with a certain optimization the Microsoft SharePoint platform allows to create, process, and store not tens of thousands, but few millions of documents in the document management system. In the future, in terms of Softengi and JSC "Bank of Georgia" cooperation it is planned further optimization, allowing increasing the number of users of the system to several thousand with millions of documents, butwithout significant system load.
