On that presentation the only thing I saw that was incorrect was the "Scan to BMP and JPG".

The Océ will only scan PDF and TIFF (and I think CALS, but no one does that).

In the Competetive Comparison book, there are so many errors, I couldn't possibly get them all but some are:

It shows that the TDS300 has AutoCAD HDI drivers, but the TDS400 only has v12 v13 and v14. Actually Océ releases it's HDI drivers as a package, so anything the TDS300 had, the 400 and 600 would have as well. The HDI driver is for all "200x" versions, and supports the 300 400 and 600.

It shows that the TDS300/400 do not have a 2000 or XP windows print driver... That's false, once again, a single print driver download contains the 300/400/600 driver, and it supports XP and 2000 and 2003.

The controller specs are WHACKO. First, there is no such thing as a "customer supplied" controller for the Océ. The Océ controller is an Océ supplied Dell PC running XP embedded. It is "locked down", you can't reach the start menu or run any programs on it other than the Océ system functions.

The Protocol section is all wrong. The Connections on the TDS300/400/600 are wrong. They all connect over the network, standard 10/100 RJ45 connector. No otehr connection needed or available (just like the 240w).

The TDS400/600 offer remote queue management, it used to be an additional charge, but now it is free (Advanced Queue Manager) so it is still something that has to be added, but there is no charge. You can use Remote Logic to view this queue from anywhere on the network.

I think the "vector input file format" means what file types are natively supported. If that is the case then DWG should be removed from both the 240w and the Océ line. You can't drop a DWG on either of these machines without AutoCAD.

If you have any questions or corrections, let me know.
