Personally, when I run across someone like that I make a personal note to myself to tell as many people as possible about how "rude" that company is!! Great story. I sold a $100,000 Xerox copier on a Saturday to the Reelect Bob Dole for US Senate and it was a walkin to my office at Xerox in Topeka, Ks. I thought my buddies were setting me up until they wrote the check. Thank God I went in to work on a Saturday. Your story was better because you had to work at setting the appts. Carl Little. Okidata C900 Series Printers

Okay, Need some assistance on the Okidata C931dn and C941dn(5 color). How do these units hold up in a graphic design department? Will they handle 18K per month of 50-80% color output? Any first hand experience with these models? I have a client that has seen the printer and some samples and to be honest the samples look amazing. I do have access to this printer. Is it a viable option for a Graphic Design and Marketing Department that is upgrading a Canon C5185 w/Fiery? Thanks for your help

Lots of experience w NSI. First, never worry about slowing the sales cycle - get it right up front. Second, large files always require additional fire power to OCR, I have seen many happy customers after adding addtl OCR engines from NSI. My recommendation is to engage a PS resource or NSI themselves, you will have a happyer customer as a result.

I think this is the Konica 2220 and it was the first unit with trays under the mainframe and not requiring "Cassettes"

It's hard to make it out bus this is the Minolta Beta 450 plain. I too thought it was at first a 300re, but, the RE's had a moving top. The 350P Z had an oversized platen and then copied on to letter and legal.

I saw that it is being launched but haven't seen any pricing. Not much appears to have changed aside from the new features that are on the rest Ricoh's latest series. I was never a fan of the MP C300/400 series, I doubt we'll sell many of the MP C401 either.

Way back in 1988-89. Before the CF70, this Konica had an LED based engine - color copy only. Cant remember the model number....

Back in my days as a technician we had two of those in the field. I forget the model number though. First color machine I ever worked on. Incredibly slow and I remember on service calls just getting a test print out so you could check your work took forever. Also the worst toner spill I ever encountered was a cyan explosion inside one of these.
