ATLANTA, Sep 05, 2013 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Reveille Software(TM), provider of the most widely-used application performance management (APM) solution for enterprise content management (ECM) applications, today announced the release of Reveille Management Console for xPression(R). The only agentless application monitoring solution designed specifically for EMC(R) Document Sciences(R) xPression, the Reveille Management Console delivers in-depth visibility into the health and usage of the document generation system.

Installed in five to 10 ten business days, Reveille Management Console for xPression optimizes delivery of customer communications, such as insurance policies, by proactively monitoring the system's components, processes and end users. When an issue is detected that could slow the production of documents or result in unplanned downtime, Reveille sends multi-level notifications and fixes the problem automatically or conditionally.

"Reveille's application performance management and monitoring capabilities are engineered to ensure continuous availability of xPression to produce critical, mandated documents," said James Heyman, senior director of product management for xPression, Information Intelligence Group, EMC Corporation. "Reveille's support for xPression delivers immediate business value as our customers strive to meet higher service levels and efficiency goals."

Reveille's scorecard metrics feature includes a graphical dashboard that can display more than 20 key business metrics, ranging from xPression system performance to actual end-user transaction activity. This enables a business to better assess user productivity, content usage frequency, response times for document generation and more.

"Reveille's proven proactive capabilities are saving global Fortune 2000 companies time and money by reducing trouble tickets, lowering support costs and ensuring application productivity," said Melissa Sterrett Baron, senior director of product management for Reveille Software. "xPression is a logical expansion of our product as insight into the health and performance of its deployment is required due to high volumes of critical documents that must be output quickly."

Reveille's Management Consoles complement existing conventional system management frameworks and can be extended to other applications. Reveille is EMC Certified and currently delivers out-of-the-box Management Consoles for multiple ECM and capture applications, including EMC Documentum(R) and EMC Captiva(R).

Reveille Management Console for xPression supports xPression version 4.2 and the majority of its products, such as xPresso for Word, InDesign, and Dreamweaver; xPression Server Enterprise Edition, xResponse and xRevise. Reveille Management Console for xPression is scheduled to be available in Q3 2013.

This release comes shortly after Reveille being included in the list, "Cool Vendors in Content Management 2013," by Gartner. Inc.(1)
