OCE 7050, Can anyone help?

Most modern Océ meters read in Square feet. However, the older analog ones measured in linear feet. I'm not sure which one the 7050 does.

I went to a Océ TDS400 just last week that the customer has had for 2 years and their meter was 8,000 Square feet, maybe they just haven't put much volume on their 7050.

I have been swamped, but I will be talking to an OCE' dealer this am and will give you the info you need.

That number is linear ft. If OCE' maintained it then it should be in good shape. My guy tells me that that is one of the better analog wide formats. As far as toner cost, look up Michelin Diazo on the web as they have toner for the 7050 and should be able to see a price.
PM cycle is probably performed at around 30K.
Service from OCE' is probably a bit higher than we would charge for an equivalent model.

That is hard to believe the office has only three people! the last number on the meter is has a colored back ground instead on the white background on the other numbers, does this stand ofr something?

I have searched for the yield of the toner developer and PM parts. However I have not been able be successful.

Does anyone have this information?

I am told we pay $203 dealer cost per carton (each contains 2 bottles) for all Océ toner.

From an Océ Authorized WFPS Reseller's Reference Manual, Consumables Target Yield:

On the 705x copiers

Each bottle is rated for 11,500 sf - say 3,833 LF of 36"paper -at 5% coverage. Developer is 50,000 LF, wire/blade/drum are 65,000 LF.

Don't have any prices on the PM kit as yet.

I believe there are 6 square ft. in a "D" size print.
That would put the yield of the toner cartriges at 1,916 "D" prints.
The developer lists for $441.47 and the yield would be 25,000 "D" prints. The wire($31.04 corona, $27.76 transfer wire)
(blade $331.08)and drum are 32,500 "D" prints.
A drum lists at $972.40 and are generally replaced when the developer is replaced.

PM Kit should be around $1,800.00
