KYOCERA Document Solutions America has announced the introduction of the TASKalfa 6002i, 5002i and 4002i MFPs.

The TASKalfa 6002i Series is built to handle the document-production requirements of medium-sized and large workgroups. The 60-page-per-minute (ppm), 50-ppm and 40-ppm models all feature true 1,2000-by-1,200-dpi resolution and Kyocera's a-Si drum technology. There is wide media support from statement to 12-by-18 inches, and a scalable paper supply of more than 7,000 sheets.

"These are the features our customers require for their monochrome document imaging needs," said Douglas Cole, director of product marketing, Corporate Marketing Group, KYOCERA Document Solutions America.

All three models provide WiFi-Direct and NFC support for Android mobile devices. They are HyPAS-enabled, ready to run Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Kyocera Mobile Print and 60-plus other business applications offered by Kyocera.

The 9-inch, 90-degree-tilt touchscreen and intuitive, tablet-like interface make for a straightforward user experience. There is also an environmentally friendly toner cartridge replacement system. Empty black toner containers can be reused as waste toner containers, reducing storage requirements and minimizing landfill waste.

All models in the TASKalfa 6002i series are Kyocera Fleet Services-ready. Kyocera Fleet Services (KFS) is a comprehensive cloud-based monitoring service that allows authorized dealers to handle many maintenance tasks for their customers without time-consuming on-site visits. Through KFS, dealers can anticipate issues and resolve them before they occur, and even update firmware remotely during off-hours, maximizing uptime across the entire fleet.

"These advanced features are impressive and the traditional features are going to exceed our customers' expectations as well," Cole said.

The TASKalfa 6002i Series is available through authorized Kyocera dealers at the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $11,228 for the TASKalfa 6002i, $9,545 for the TASKalfa 5002i, and $8,292 for the TASKalfa 4002i.

KYOCERA has also announced the introduction of the TASKalfa 3511i and TASKalfa 3011i MFPs.

The models deliver speeds of 35-ppm and 30-ppm, respectively. Both offer outstanding 600-by-600-dpi black-&-white printing capabilities, flexible media support with paper sizes up to 11-by-17 inches and advanced finishing options — including a 3,000-sheet external finisher.

The series introduces several technological advancements. Both models provide standard WiFi-Direct and NFC support for Android mobile devices. The Series is HyPAS-enabled, able to run Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Kyocera Mobile Print, as well as 60-plus other business applications Kyocera offers.

The 3511i and 3011i both feature high-speed color scanning up to 160 images per minute (ipm), and are able scan to multiple destinations, including directly to email and USB. The touch-screen user interface is 9 inches, full color, with a 90-degree stepless tilt and an intuitive user interface design that can be customized.

All models in the TASKalfa 3511i series are Kyocera Fleet Services-ready.

"Customers generally don't expect all of these capabilities in low-volume MFPs," Cole said. "We like exceeding their expectations."

The TASKalfa 3511i Series is available through authorized Kyocera dealers at MSRPs of $7,529 for the TASKalfa 3511i and $6,209 for the TASKalfa 3011i.
