Technology  being displayed at GOA 2015 spans the gamut of applications: offset  printing, digital printing, commercial printing, flexo/label printing,  wide-format printing, sign printing, book printing, specialty printing,  direct-to-garment printing, mailing and fulfillment, bindery/converting,  and more.
 
Exhibitors are starting to share summaries of what they will show in Miami Beach in February, including:
 
OKI Data,  a GOA Platinum Sponsor, will debut both new and enhanced digital  printing and finishing systems. Also being demonstrated are select  devices from its innovative LED digital color production printing  portfolio for use within the graphic arts market.
 
MGI will show the JETvarnish 3D spot UV coater with in-line digital foiling  iFOIL module and the multi-substrate Meteor DP8700 XL+ digital press  with the brand new inline DF Pro finishing system.
 
MGI's  JETvarnish 3D is more powerful with a new field upgradeable option,  allowing for doubling ("T2") production speeds and the ability to  digitally coat up to 300 microns in one pass on formats up to 52x105cm  (20x40''). In addition to the increased speed, the new barcode reaction  camera system allow users to digitally emboss or spot varnish variable  data by reading printed barcodes and recalling the correct images in the  workstation to varnish with ease.
 
The JETvarnish 3D "T2" can be  connected to MGI's iFOIL module to create 100 percent digital hot  foiling in-line. The iFOIL does not require use of dies, plates or  makeready, allowing the innovative duo to create a tactile elegance  never seen before in on demand environment.
 
Rollem
will  host live demonstrations of its new Delta Short Run Sheet-fed Die  Cutter. Attendees will learn more about flexible dies and the variety of  products capable of being produced, including boxes, labels, cartons,  presentation folders, ID cards, door hangers, and more.  Rollem's unique  Delta encompasses a wide range of sheet capacities for both digital and  offset printing, ranging from 15x20" up to a full B2 24x30" size.
 
At  the GOA Print Shop Live booth, Mutoh will demonstrate its RJ-900X and  ValueJet 1638WX technology. The RJ-900X is a compact, affordable and  versatile 42" printer; and the 64" Mutoh ValueJet 1638WX is renowned for  everyday sublimation printing.
 
In the Mutoh/3M Vehicle Wrap  Center, Mutoh will demonstrate the ValueJet 1624. Also being shown is  the ValueJet 1324, a 54" high-performance, small footprint, Eco-solvent  printer featuring cutting edge print technology and precision  engineering at an affordable price. Attendees will also have the chance  to see the ValueCut 1300 cutting plotter and ValueJet 426UF tabletop,  UV-LED printer.
 
USI Inc. will showcase roll and pouch  lamination products including WrapSure™, its newest pouch lamination  line. The kit includes the WrapSure 12" thermal pouch laminator, 50  WrapSure 3mil letter wraps, 100 vertical luggage tags, and 100 clear  plastic loops.
 
Esko will showcase its full Suite 14  collection of preproduction software tools for packaging, signage and  display production; which includes structure software, automated  workflow solutions, and 3D visualization. Live demonstrations on the  Kongsberg cutting table featuring cutting on various substrates will  take place, and attendees will receive free samples!
 
Konica Minolta Business Solutions will feature its popular bizhub office printers and bizhub PRESS  production print solutions at Graphics of the Americas. Attendees will  have a first-hand look at the company's award-winning color, and  monochrome, multifunctional products (MFPs).
 
Printware
will demonstrate its iJetColor Press family of inkjet presses, powered  by Memjet technology. The iJetColor Envelope Press, a compact, table  top, 4-color inkjet press, is suitable for supporting production paper  stocks as heavy as .02 inch/.5 mm or up to an 8.5" by 17" substrate.
 
The  iJetColor Label Press is also a compact, table top, 4-color inkjet  press; in this case supporting production label stocks for product  packaging personalization, variable data barcoding, shelf labels,  product labels for retail and industrial applications for product  personalization.
