High-Speed Production Scanner Compatible with Document Management System

Newburgh, NY – May 6, 2009 – DocuWare, a leader in the integrated document management industry, has tested the Canon imageFORMULA DR-9050C Production Scanner to be compatible with DocuWare 5.1b.


The Canon DR-9050C quickly and easily integrates into a DocuWare installation, allowing users to effortlessly turn paper documents into digital files. Documents can be scanned in color, B&W, or grayscale and simultaneously shared via e-mail, stored on the network, saved on portable USB drives, sent to networked printers and copiers, or sent to a network folder which DocuWare monitors to automatically deliver scanned images to a virtual ‘in basket’ on a desktop for further processing.

The DR-9050C provides color and black-and-white scanning up to 112 pages per minute (ppm) and 225 ipm.* The DR-9050C’s digital images can also provide a fully searchable PDF for filing in DocuWare.
