Although I am 60% on board with your move to A4 strategy, most of the rest of the stuff you are posting is "knocking it out of the park"! I would like to see a poll. As a business owner, during COVID-19 would you prefer? 1). No lease payments for 90 days 2). 1/2 price lease payments for one year The auto industry is pushing no payments for 90 days but I think business owners are more concerned about cash flow for the next year. I think the correct strategy is to offer as part of your...

Re: Post-Virus We Must Defeat The Zombie Companies!

SalesServiceGuy ·
I have to dial back the 1/2 price payments for one year. Most SMB business will only get lease approved for a six month Step lease. So for those customers wanting to preserve cash flow, a six month 1/2 price lease cost followed by a 60 month regular cost lease would be the best offer. On a $5k lease this would add approx $139.00 to the total finance costs spread over 66 months ($2.00 month).

Art, You and I are from similar professional backgrounds and times. We started in 1980 selling Sharp and Juki typewriters. Everything sold near MSRP. Then the fax boom came and we caught that wave perfectly. We sold Ricoh thermal faxes for full list ($2995.00). The only issue was cash flow; we sold them faster than we could order and purchase them. Copier Maintenance agreements went from .022 up to .035 and did not include drums, developer, toner, fuser rollers or lamps! Also, like your...

I got this from an email: Honestly nothing along the lines of a one liner come to me. However, when I was doing training on the 6755 once I botched the toner refilling process and got toner all over the room. Then as we were going to get some towels to wipe it down, I heard the maintenance guy fire up the vacuum and before I could run down the hall to stop him – the toner went straight through the filter and out the air vent … and ALL over the office. Leasing and Section 179 Did you know that your company can lease equipment and still take full advantage of the Section 179 deduction? In fact, leasing equipment and/or software with the Section 179 deduction in mind is a preferred financial strategy for many businesses, as it can significantly help with not only cash flow, but with profits as well. Non-Tax | Capital Lease The main benefit of a non-tax capital lease is that you can still take full advantage of the Section 179 Deduction, yet...

Sharp's issues are related to flat screen TV's etc. There is a market glut and its been impairing cash flow and inventories. The MFD division is profitable and at the worst, expect a merger as was the case with Konica-Minolta. Their products are solid as is their track record.

Why not store this as one whole document. I understand that certain sections need to be updated, but ... The 2090 Document Server has the Editor capability. With this feature you can select ranges of pages to be deleted and then simply added by scanning in the new updated pages. Plus once you enter the settings for this entire job, they are kept, regardless of how you delete and add pages. But perhaps the greatest way to impact their productivity work flow would be to connect this system.

Keep in mind the initial launch will be the printer only at 90ppm, this unit will have the new vacuum feed LCT which will add some cost, but feed heavy, coated and many other media MUCH better. The big question will be the cost of supplies for the 5th station and how to set up click charges or simply leave the customer to purchase these special supplies separate. Lets face it the Xerox 1000 is $250k, we will have a much lower price on these new units.
