I think if you map the port of the MFP through the firewall. The end-user (on their laptop in the field) Could print via IPP. (Internet Printing Protocol) I know the Ricoh MFP's have this capability.
To be honest I never have done this. But, in theory it can be done. That is where I would look. -slim463
