Does anyone have any experience in selling fax cloud connectors?

I know everyone says that they have seen a dramatic drop in fax volumes but a high % of MFPs are still sold with fax boards.

Many business still pay a monthly fee to the telco for a fax line ranging from $17.00 to $70.00.  The average is $25.00 to $36.00 to $56.00 for a commercial fax line.

Over 60 months these line charges can really add up. Plus the cost of a fax board.  The savings grow quickly if an enterprise has multiple fax lines.

There is a real good chance you can more than half the current cost.

XMedius has created an app for multiple copier vendors that embeds into the copier control panel usually for free.  You have to pay them an Admin fee for them to make the effort to "port" a customers fax numbers from the telco over  to their secure Cloud server.  Plus you have to pay an estimated usage credit in advance.

In the end, it is no different or harder than an adding the cost of an accessory to your copier lease.

I am in a 10 copier quote against Xerox and they are super low on cost and cpc.  This small City needs 10 copiers, 10 fax boards and has 10 fax lines.  I have run the numbers and think I can save them $10k in fax charges.  Some copiers with fax boards almost never fax but they still need the functionality.

Faxes from the copier go out in the regular way but all incoming faxes are rec'd as emails.

I have never competed against anyone offering this solution.  I am thinking it will earn me a few $k in commision where before I was hoping to breakeven, gain a new customer and add some click revenue.

Even on single copiers with one fax line savings can be found.
