HARRISBURG, Pa., November 2, 2015 – Global Imaging Systems (GIS), A Xerox Company, has acquired Capital Business Systems, Inc., a central Pennsylvania-based business services provider in Harrisburg, Pa. The company offers a full range of managed print and network services, along with document management software.
"We continue to grow our presence across the U.S. with leading office equipment companies that provide quality services to customers,” said Michael Pietrunti, senior vice president, Acquisitions, Corporate Services and Marketing, GIS. "The addition of successful companies – like Capital Business Systems – continues to bolster our network of locally based companies.”
Leading Capital Business Systems since its inception in 1991, Steven Shirk will continue to serve as president. "The new partnership with GIS and Xerox expands our offerings, providing our customers with an increased portfolio of solutions to meet their needs, said Shirk. "Customer satisfaction remains our top priority, and we look forward to strengthening our current relationships and building new ones.”
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
