Word keeping last print settings

I have been dealing with an issue with word 2003 and above where if you print a document in color and close out Word, the next time you open word (even a different document) it keeps the last used print settings. I am using the PCL5c driver for the Savin C4540. If it helps, the driver is shared from the server (2003). The customer is using user codes. Also, This is only in Word. Not in Excel, power point word perfect, or anything else. Has anyone ran into this? If so, how did you deal with it. My customer is not happy because they say they will be printing color copies when they should be printing B&W ( B&W is default on ALL drivers on the network. Thanks for any help
