WOMEN IN POWER

I always offer to shake hands, man or woman. It used to be that a man didn't offer to shake a womans hand unless she made the first move. But I think thats changed, like a lot of social mores
Do they make a decision like a man would? That is too subjective to answer. Some do and some don't. And what does that mean?

I do the hand shake also, treat just like you would anyone else.

Treat women or men the same until you are told different by that person.

Agreed, but lighten up on the handshake. A bone-crushing handshake is a horrible impression on anyone but especially on a woman.

You would think this would be common sense, but I've had this discussion with several customers about other sales people who think a "Firm" handshake means the other person walks away in agony.

Although, my Dad always told my brothers - "you treat her like a lady because you are a gentleman"

Some women need to lighten up on the "I am woman hear me roar"

Treat each according to their needs, experience, position and you will be fine.
