Whitlock, a global AV solutions provider, announces promotions to its executive team as a result of continued growth and expansion. Julian Philips and Jack Steinhauer will now serve as Executive Vice Presidents, and Chris Jamison has been promoted to a newly created role of Vice President of Information Technology (IT) and Service Delivery.

Julian Phillips, Executive Vice President, has been with Whitlock for just over three years. During this time, he has led the way for Whitlock’s expanded strategic partnerships and service offerings in Cloud, software, asset tracking, network management and managed services solutions. He has directed the Global Presence Alliance efforts and helped to grow this organization to the largest network in the world for AV and UC solutions. Julian was also elected to serve on the Board of InfoComm, where he has been active as a thought leader and presenter at various industry events.

“Julian is an outstanding spokesperson for Whitlock, whether to our prospective customers, suppliers, or industry groups. His vision of the transformation of unified communications technologies and the development of Whitlock’s advisory and support services has provided great value to our customers,” states Doug Hall, Whitlock’s CEO.

Julian will continue to provide overall leadership for Whitlock Managed Services and will serve in an executive leadership role for the Global Presence Alliance.

John “Jack” Steinhauer, Executive Vice President, joined Whitlock as the Vice President of Sales in September 2012. His engaging leadership style has resulted in stronger relationships with Whitlock’s key customers and partners, and has delivered significant improvements in business development, sales and supporting operations. Jack provides strategic direction to Whitlock’s Regional Directors and Account Executives, and has become a champion of the Whitlock culture and brand.

Chris Jamison, Vice President of IT and Service Delivery, joined Whitlock as the Director of IT in March 2012. As Whitlock has expanded its reach and engagement with global customers, Chris has built a high performance team to support this growth and success. He has revamped Whitlock’s IT infrastructure to provide even greater levels of support and security to customers. Chris has also developed Whitlock’s IT Roadmap to keep the company agile, with the right tools and information to improve efficiency and decision-making. His success in IT led to the decision to empower him to also lead the AV/IT efforts of Whitlock’s Managed Services and Cloud Services delivery teams. He will work in conjunction with Julian Phillips on continued improvements in this area.
