VT 6000 feeding envelopes

There is no attachment from Ricoh or any other third party vendor.

All you can do is change the feed tires (they should be replaced every 200K), you can also instruct the customer to fan the envelopes, run them at a lower speed (60 cpm). If paper is feeding ok, do not try to adjust the feed timimg.

Envelopes were always a problem, however repalcing feed tires, running the system slower and only insterting 40-60 envelopes at a time may increase the reliability.

Something else that seems to help with a Riso so may work here, is to put an angled wedge under the envelopes. I usually used a rubber door-stop but anything will do. The idea is to change the angle at which the envelopes enter the machine.
