I have a customer who has a JP3000 and a UC6 controller. We are having difficulty printing to the JP3000 from the UC6. When printing, it will create a master and print out 2 copies on the JP3000 no matter what quantity is selected. ie: if you want to print 100 copies it only prints the 2 and then the user needs to go over to the JP3000 and print the rest. Has anyone else experienced this and is there an easy fix?

If it is a driver, problem - and I agree that it sounds like it, then double check that driver. Ricoh does not have up to date drivers posted on it's web site for the ZipRips. I've always had to go to www.ziprip.com, downloading the latest firmware and drivers. You definitely need to use the Pro E driver for the JP3000. I'll think on it tonight and post something else tomorrow, if I come up with anything. Cheers.
The JP3000 orginally had thick paper guides. This caused a the paper size detection to incorrectly detect the size of the paper in the feed tray. As a result the rip always sees a paper size mismatch. There are new thinner guides that do not cause this problem.
