Two New Xerox DocuTechs to Debut at drupa 2004
Xerox at drupa 2004: speaking the language of the customer - more ways for printers to profit.

As the print industry ramps up for drupa 2004, Xerox Corporation is making its own preparations as a top exhibitor at the quadrennial international printing and paper tradeshow. From May 6-19 in Düsseldorf, Germany, Xerox will exhibit the industry's broadest range of technology and techniques for digital printing. Xerox will speak the language of the customer by demonstrating more ways to profit in the new business of printing to more than 70,000 visitors and customers expected at the company's stand.

Some fast facts about Xerox's exhibit at drupa 2004 include:

• The Xerox exhibit is located in Hall 13 on a 37,670 square-foot stand. Hall 13 is located on the main fairground at Messe Düsseldorf.

• The Xerox stand will feature some 20 production printers and presses - including the DocuColor iGen3 and the new DocuTech 100/120 (Website) - and a plethora of workflow, software and finishing options.

• New hardware and software unveiled during the show will be on display. The stand will be organized into environments focused on industry sectors including: creative services, commercial printing, book printing, service bureaus, quick printing and supplies.

• At drupa, Xerox will go beyond demonstrating the latest technological advances by showing customers how a streamlined and efficient workflow is key to business productivity, how the right equipment is essential to achieving healthy profits and how important it is to have a vendor partner to support and develop their business.

• Anne Mulcahy, Xerox's chairman and CEO, will speak to press and analysts on May 6, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in CCD Süd, room 3, first floor.

Four years ago, at drupa 2000, Mulcahy hosted her first press conference as president of the company; Xerox launched the DocuColor 2000 series, a product line that now has more than 10,000 installations worldwide; and the company first showed the then-yet-to-be-named DocuColor iGen3 Digital Production Press.
