TWAIN scanning with 1515

I've set up a 1515 on a small LAN with a netgear router. I'm able to ping and print to the mfp.

However, when I try to scan I get 12320 error (cannot find scanner). I've turned off personal firewall and allowed an exception in xp for port 1022. Using Smart Device Monitor for Admin I have been able to establish 2 way communication.

I've turned up the TWAIN standby time to 30 minutes.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Update:

I've downloaded Desktop Binder and have had no trouble TWAIN scanning from it. But, for some reason WORD will not find the scanner...
