to enter the tsc site you must first get a ricoh tech id. i believe you must first be certified on a ricoh product to get a ricoh tech id. you can get a self paced training package or attend a ricoh class. as for tips ricoh will provide you with modified parts and causes of problems but they will never give you get-around fixes.they wont tell you anything but fixes provided by japan.
You see doc... I have this "Friend"...

And my "Friend" said that some people have been given a Tech ID without attending a Ricoh class. It may be possible for you to talk someone into giving you an ID if you can show you need access to the site (like if you are an SE or something) and don't have any need to be certified (because you won't be working on the hardware).

And that's all I'm gonna say about that.
thanks to all for the interest shown. Yes I have been to quite a few Ricoh training courses receiving product certification as well as WICE training. And yes I do work or an authorised dealer and infact I am the service co-ordinator. bBut I have never been gien any ID. I certtainly do not beleive in conterfit ID and hence will tyr to ask REBV if they can support my request, for as dscott rightly points out real technical tips come from hands on personel.
best regards to all and the very best wishes for the festive season
