Toshiba's Digital Products Division, a division of Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., recently announced the immediate availability of the TD-E EasySeries, a family of fully featured digital signage displays, designed specifically for the commercial market.
Intended to be ideal for a wide range of use cases in the retail, corporate, education and restaurant/bar verticals, the TD-E EasySeries models are commercial displays with 16/7 operation, 1080p full-HD resolution, a full commercial feature package and a true commercial warranty, the company said.
"The release of the TD-E EasySeries is a key milestone of our complete commitment to the B2B digital displays and solutions market," said Scott Ramirez, vice president of product marketing and development, Toshiba America Information Systems, Digital Products Division. "To create the TD-E EasySeries, we've leveraged our long history of innovation, dependability and expertise in display technologies to deliver the ultimate combination of high quality, step-above features and true value for our customers."
According to Toshiba, the TD-E EasySeries 1080p full-HD displays provide "best-in-class" brightness with a luminance rating of 450 nits. These models are also pre-calibrated to ensure picture quality with high contrast, deep color and accurate gray scale, the company said.
Each display includes full connectivity with a built-in USB media player, two HDMI inputs, DVI input and output, component/composite inputs and a VGA port. In addition, these displays have total external control flexibility with RS232C, LAN and IR ports.
Encased in a thin, matte-finish commercial bezel for maximum deployment flexibility, the TD-E EasySeries displays can be configured in landscape or portrait orientation, and can also be tiled, making them capable of a wide variety of use cases, the company said. All TD-E EasySeries digital displays also include built-in failover capability, and a three-year limited commercial warranty with what the company called "a fast and easy" advanced exchange program.
The TD-E EasySeries is available now in 43-, 55- and 65-inch screen sizes, at $999.99, $1,899.99 and $3,799.99 MSRP respectively. An additional 50-inch model will be available later this month at $1,649.99 MSRP, the company said.
