Hello All,

I wanted to reach out and see who is selling telephone systems. I've heard from others outside this group that is has been a very good revenue and profit stream for their companies. I'd like to hear pros/cons from anyone who's selling them.

I used to sell Toshiba telephone systems.  Depending on how unfriendly or unhelpful the telecos are in your area, get use to much longer sales cycles.  Telecom products have much longer life cycles than copiers do so do not expect to be replacing systems every 60 months.  The technology, terminology and product skill set is much different than copiers.  To get into the telecom business you need to hire people from the industry for sales and support.  Not many copier techs can get their head around the very advanced concepts that are now common in the telephone business.  There are no real recurring revenues past the initial sale of a telecom system other than charging for MACs (moves, adds & changes).
