Swiss Post Solutions (SPS), an innovative leader in business process outsourcing and digitization solutions, has announced the addition of Joe Kovach as Head of Document Processing for North America. Reporting directly to the SPS North America Chief Executive Officer, Dan Moscatiello, Joe will also serve as the Chief Technology Officer and Transformation Lead, responsible for SPS’ Document Processing Centers (DPCs) and Information Technology groups in the United States.

The addition comes in support of SPS’ ongoing business expansion. Joe’s primary function will be to further enhance SPS’ ability to support clients in their Digital Transformation journey as they seek to covert incoming documents into digital formats that can take advantage of emerging technologies like Robotics Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence to complete standard business tasks.

Joe, who will be based out of Denver, Colorado, will manage SPS’ US-based Document Processing programs to bring these world-class capabilities to the company’s North American clientele. This includes his leadership of the DPC operations in El Paso, Texas, Alamogordo, New Mexico and New York, New York. He will also oversee the delivery of services with the SPS Central Document Input Processing Platform (CDIPP) that handles the input and output processing channels associated with the different workflows, processes, deliverables and data formats for intra-modular communication and digital interaction with third parties and customers.

SPS Chief Executive Officer, Dan Moscatiello, said, “As CTO, Joe will be tasked with bringing greater vision and further innovation to our Document Processing portfolio. Additionally, Joe will play a vital role as a liaison between SPS North America and our Global Document Input Processing team, bringing to our clients the resources, capabilities and expertise that we are uniquely able provide for their benefit.”

Joe comes to SPS with a strong background in managing and delivering best-in-class solutions while holding various leadership roles in technology. Most recently, Joe was Chief Transformation Officer for ServiceSource, a managed services and cloud software firm, where he held responsibility for transforming the company through cutting-edge technology to best serve the needs of customers and driving revenue growth. In addition, Joe was responsible for Professional Services and Systems Integration while at Hewlett Packard and Siemens/Atos.

Joe Kovach added, “I am very proud to be joining a SPS team that has already established itself as a leader in Document Management. Its reputation for service excellence and innovation have set it apart from the competition, and I am excited to add to the company’s vast expertise.”
