DANA POINT, Calif., Oct. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, at the Fast Casual Executive Summit, Epson America, Inc., a leading supplier of value-added Point of Sale (POS) solutions, and Spendgo, provider of personalized customer engagement solutions for mobile apps and online stores, announced exclusive integration of Spendgo's new platform with Epson's OmniLink® Merchant Services (OMS). Spendgo delivers enhanced customer loyalty, offer management and engagement solutions ideally suited for QSR, retail and convenience stores. The joint solution will be shown at Fast Casual, a food service technology conference, from October 9-11th Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort, Dana Point CA.

"Our collaboration allows merchants access to Spendgo's significantly enhanced features that span QSR, retail and convenience stores of all sizes," said Joel Doherty, global business development leader for Epson's Business Systems Division. "As the platform is integrated with our OMS line of printers, we are allowing clients to utilize real-time measured transaction data for tailored customer loyalty and engagement solutions without POS integration."

The solution is already in place at Black Bear Diner in Tempe Arizona, a family dining restaurant with menu options offering large portions of home-style comfort food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.

"Customer engagement is a core focus of ours and Spendgo's new solution allows us to take it to the next level," said Dave Doty, CMO of Black Bear Dining. "It helps that their integration with Epson has made the whole launch easy and affordable."

Spendgo's new platform consists of a guest terminal to connect with guests at every transaction using SKU data, video, and personalized content. It offers plug and play integration with customers' POS as well as many 3rd party services, the ability to build custom loyalty programs, run email or SMS campaigns, and generate marketing insights. The guest terminal's elegant design and high impact screens are eye catching and yielding significant gains in customer engagement.

"We have extensive experience implementing customer engagement solutions, and now with Epson's OMS, businesses will be able to implement our solutions quicker than other marketing investments," said Ivan Matkovic, Spendgo founder and CEO. "For our customers to drive ROI, they needed a platform that reaches the largest available customer audience. Our clients are reporting an immediate increase of anywhere from 50% to 250% in sales from targeted customers, so the results speak for themselves."
