March 6, 2018: Fast, Flexible, and Full of Features

With a print speed up to 90 PPM, the TASKalfa 9002i is perfectly suited to schools, law firms, and busy CRDs with high-volume document imaging needs.

FAIRFIELD, N.J. – March 6, 2018 – KYOCERA Document Solutions America, Inc., one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, today announced the launch of the TASKalfa 9002i black and white MFP, rounding out the top end of its multifunctional document imaging devices portfolio.

Built for Speed

The name of the game here is speed. The TASKalfa 9002i prints at up to 90 pages per minute, with a scanning speed of up to 220 images per minute, making it an ideal choice for any office or industry faced with high output demands and the desire to keep production in-house.

“Ad agencies, schools, real estate firms, financial institutions… there are so many businesses out there dealing with hundreds, even thousands of documents every day,” said Terry Knopsnyder, Vice President of Engineering at KYOCERA Document Solutions America. “Yes, they’re printing and copying – but they’re also scanning, emailing, archiving, indexing. The 9002i is up to all of it - they won’t lose a step.”

KFS-Ready – When Downtime is Not An Option

KYOCERA Fleet Service (KFS) is Kyocera’s comprehensive remote monitoring system, offering a window into almost every aspect of a customer’s Kyocera device, from toner levels to detailed analytics reports. With KFS, your Kyocera dealer can perform many services right from the dealership: firmware updates, error-code resets, real-time diagnostics, and more.

The TASKalfa 9002i comes KFS-ready, requiring just a few simple steps to activate this feature that will virtually eliminate downtime due to unforeseen maintenance calls, unmonitored supplies or back-ordered parts. “For any office using a device as fast as the 9002i, avoiding downtime will be a priority,” says Knopsnyder. “KFS eliminates virtually all of it.”
