Sparta Systems, a provider of cloud and on-premise quality management solutions, has added enhanced document management functionality for its 123Compliance Quality Management Software. The new release allows organizations to improve collaboration on quality issues both internally and with external partners.

Sparta’s 123Compliance Document Management enables companies to move away from outdated paper-based document management and reduce the number of separate document management systems required for compliance, while improving the quality of collaboration and reducing the risk of noncompliance. The new updates to the solution are targeted at accelerating review and approval processes by leveraging best practice workflows, organizing all documents into a single repository for ease of access across all sites, and enabling the sharing of documents among key internal and external stakeholders.

As organizations increasingly move to an all-digital approach to their quality management systems, processes such as document management help to create a more streamlined path to compliance, said Eileen Martinson, CEO of Sparta Systems.

The document management capabilities allow authors, reviewers, and approvers to access documents from any device and take the appropriate action. In addition, a rule-based workflow is available to support established quality management processes. Documents can be templated for convenience and made to require electronic signatures.

In addition to document management, the 123Compliance suite offers quality management processes as well as regulatory reporting. It is hosted on the secure Salesforce App Cloud, and is 21CFR Part 11 compliant to reduce the amount of time and resources needed to validate the solution.
