OK, I have a Mac user who insists on updating the OS every time Apple releases an update.  The problem is, inevitably scan to folder stops working and scan to email is not acceptable.  The end of last year I set it back up for 10.11.1 or something like that and now that they have replaced their router and updated of course it doesn't work again.  I can browse to their Mac but cannot see below it.  After an hour or so with the hotline, they're out of ideas.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.  I'm looking at this https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/41541/smbup and didn't know if anyone had any experience with this option.

Thanks!

The MFD is a Savin C9020. Unfortunately, this customer is dead set on scan to folder. I don't think FTP or URL are going to be acceptable.  I'm going to see if I can play with this SMBUp software and get it working.  If I can use an application to manage the SMB shares instead of the OS it might be easier.  This is a very unique situation as it is one older gentleman who is the sole proprietor and wants what he wants.  The only good part is he doesn't seem to mind paying for it.
