Foxconn, aka Hon Hai Precision, owner of Sharp, notified an unknown number of employees and customers that it was hit by ransomware attack.
The DoppelPaymer ransomware gang has taken credit for the attack, and has begun posting confidential data on the Dark Web.
Demanding $34,686,000.00 ransomware payment
Claims to have accessed and encrypted 1200-1400 servers with up to 30 terabytes of info
