can not make screnn resolution right for plotb ase install,. Have high screen res, still get error message. Can anyone help?

i have seen the problem also when running at hi res, run at 200 dpi, i will be getting answers soon, any other issues please leave detailed posts. i was certified on the prototype along with two other techs. i am in jersey and working directly with product specialist so hearing problems, especially regional problems, would be greatly appriciated

We had a problem yesterday when we scanned and image to plotbase.
We set the scan DPI higher than 200 dpi, we then scanned and saved as a pdf file. We then were able to view the file in Adobe. However when we printed all we got was a blank page.
We have to back down the scan dpi to 200 and all worked fine. We have submitted an alert and we are waiting for a response.

The same problem happened with plotbase,RW470. A winprint 300 DPI print driver solved the problem there with Adobe. I tried using the driver for the RW240, but didn’t work.
1. March through April production units needs a firmware upgrade to 5.05 for APS to work on 30" paper, and for the mainframe to work with the controller.
2. When scanning at 300 dpi using either "window" or a D size format, scan appears as a blank document, Work around is to :
A) change dpi from 300
or
B) change from 36" to 35.9"
Ratio and Japan are aware of this issue and working on a fix.
3. Current long copy is 9 meters in SP mode. Can get firmware upgrade by request that will allow copy up to 15 meters.
4. Original catch tray will be an optional accessory for all 240 units.
5. Reader turns off for no apparent reason. Symptom: jobs fail to appear in Plotbase. Solution: turn reader on.
