I always test our MFP's scan to email capabilities with our Exchange Server and our ISP's SMTP server.

For some reason, I cannot get this product to scan using the ISP's server. I can get all of the other Savin products in our showroom to scan to email with the ISP's mail server, but not this one. Has anyone else ran into this problem? Does anyone have a solution?

Update. I talked with someone in tech support and they said that this product requires that relay is enabled on the mail server (something ISPs are not willing to do). So, unless you have Exchange or access to the mail server, don't beat your head against the wall...it's not going to work.

Finally, after a year of banging my head against the wall with this product someone fesses up. Hopefully this will save someone the headaches.
