I have a bank using a Savin 3515mf. Multiple locations fax their end of the day to the main office. However, the main office is not receiving the faxes and when they check on hook dial there is no dial tone. When they shut off the system and power it back up it is okay.

This seems like a very basic troubleshooting situation, but because of its inconsistency it has proven to be very evasive. Unfortunately, I don't have all day to babysit the thing and if I did it would inevitably not happen.

Has anyone had any similar experiences?

There have been known issues regarding the FCU PCB on these and the 18cpm fax options. Has this machine been installed for a while? Typically, you might experience any of the following symptoms:

1. SC820 codes
2. Machine fails to recognize fax option
3. Black lines either in recive or transmit

It sounds like the FCU may be your issue, I've seen all of the above symptoms due to the older FCU's. There were a few bulletins issued around last April in this regard.
Speaking of the 18's fax modem, has anyone experienced this....I installed a DMAP 2018d with an all-in-one kit. After I entered the customer's quick dials and exited to show them how to access the dials, they did not appear. I went back to user tools, and could not access the address book management. It did not appear at all. I turned the machine off and back on, and the address book management key reappeared. I could not get an answer from tech support. Any ideas?

I've never heard of anything like this happening, were all of the firmware versions at their latest release?
