Nice unit, MSRP fom Samsung is $2,995, MSRP from Muratec is $4,995. Letter and Legal only, 50 page df, sorter/stapler, max paper capacity 2,200 sheets plus by-pass. Scan2email, scan2folder, color scan, walkup fax, fax4ward2pdf or folder. We are doing all inclusives for .0160 Runs very well, our customers are averaging 7,000 pages per month.

Accounting package does not work (as of three months ago). Will not receive letter and legal faxes, they must print toone size paper only. System is still very fast when printing. Also has a document server like ricoh systems. Our average selling price with accessories is around $5,500.

Let me know if you need more info, there is ton on this message board
The one I just sold had an additional paper tray and the finsiher and cabinet. Muratec MSRP is $4,995 for 4550, I think $800 for finisher and $350 for paper tray and $400 for cabinet.

What I have been doing is not leading with this machine, I am leading with traditional A3 systems. When I get an objection, whether competition or price, I then ask the user if 11x17 is really needed to copy, print or scan. In most cases the answer is NO, from there I proceed to tell the story about how A4 machines have no entered the market. From there I give them the price pitch on how much inexpensive they are compared to A4 machines. Since the customer has multiple quotes for A3 machines, the Muratec 4550 or the Sammy is a steal.

Also, we do a cpc for .016 for the 4550 and a cpc for the A3 at .0125, based on 10,000 per month thats a difference of only $35 per month for service and supplies, over 60 months they will pay $9,600 in service and supplies, add in the machine cost and you have a total of $15,100. Compared to paying $12,000 for a 45ppm and then an additional $7,500 based on .0125 for a grand total of $19,500.
