MALVERN, Pa., Nov. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ricoh Americas Corporation today announced that it has been named the winner of PR News' Digital PR Award for the best Microsite/Custom site for its WorkIntelligent.ly website. The honor comes on the heels of the site's recent recognition by the prestigious Content Marketing Awards (CMAs) in the Best Overall 2014 Editorial Website category, and recognizes "organizations that take risks, and make tremendous strides in demonstrating their understanding of the power of digital communications in public relations."

WorkIntelligent.ly faced tough competition in the category, but emerged victorious from a field that included entries from IBM, Microsoft, Cisco and Hilton Worldwide. The site had previously faced a large field of entries in the CMAs in the Best Overall Editorial category, earning bronze to an entry from Google, and ahead of entries from Microsoft and Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts.

"The WorkIntelligent.ly site was created to help guide our core constituency into the new world of work," said Terrie Campbell, Vice President, Strategic Marketing, Ricoh Americas Corporation. "It enables us to be a leading voice in the conversation of how technology can help us work more effectively and more intelligently. This award means a great deal to us as it recognizes our efforts to create an engaged community through smart, meaningful content."

WorkIntelligent.ly provides strategic and IT decision makers with unbiased, educational and relevant content to help them achieve better information mobility in their organization. And in this new world of work, the stakes have never been higher for business leaders. Ricoh has found information mobility to be the key factor to be successful in today's business world. The content on the site thus addresses the three major components of information mobility: technology, information management and workstyle innovation. This can range from business applications visitors should download to be more productive, to navigating a business world without email, to what businesses can do to prepare for life after Windows XP.

Utilizing a daily publishing model, WorkIntelligent.ly features a robust team of well-established writers and subject matter experts, comprised of former journalists and editors who have worked for leading publications such as Network World, CIO.com and Lifehacker. Ricoh leaders and experts regularly lend their insights and knowledge to the site, which is also buoyed with quality high-value content including infographics, webinars and guest posts from key figures in the fields of technology, information and workforce issues.

The site has seen more than 5.5 million people visit the site nearly 7 million times since its launch in November of 2013 — an average of more than 20,000 visitors every day.
