Is anyone else experiencing this. The last two C440dn's that we have installed completely power down overnight. Every morning the end-user has to push the power button. Ricoh has provided several different things to try but none of them have changed anything. I went to some earlier installations of the same model and the problem does not exist.

I was just curious if anyone else has had this happen.

Yes.  I sold one an hour and a half away from my office and it took me two wasted visits to reproduce the issue when the customer complained.  There is a setting called "Eco Night Sensor" or something to that effect.  Turn it off.

The setting is in the web interface under the timer settings.  It is a setting that is easy to overlook and is now found on a couple other printers as well.

My problem was corrected by deactivating the Eco Night Sensor. I guess other installations are just fine with turning the printer on every morning so they haven't complained. By the way, several calls to Ricoh Tech Support had us downloading Firmware, changing sleep modes and who knows what all else but one inquiry to P4PHotel got me the answer I needed immediately.

Thanks Fisher for being there AND taking the time to respond.
