Ricoh printers hit industry top spot again
Printer specialist Ricoh has scooped a range of prestigious industry gongs for the second time in less than a year.
InfoPrint, a joint venture between the firm and computer giant IBM, was singled out by Better Buys for Business and Buyers Laboratory for its effective provision of printer solutions.
"The InfoPrint Colour 1767 provides exceptional image quality and outstanding ease of use," remarked senior printer analyst Marlene Orr.
She continued: "With an easy-to-use control panel, thorough administrative utilities and built-in colour controls to limit the costs associated with colour printing, it is a welcome addition on the network."
Other models to win recognition included the InfoPrint Colour 1764 and 1769 devices, which were praised for their speed, reliability and "extensive" colour controls.
Representatives for respected industry guide Better Buys for Business claimed that InfoPrint offers a "comprehensive and excellent" range of multifunctional printer products.
In December, two other Ricoh printer models won Pick of the Year at a ceremony hosted by office equipment tester Buyers Laboratory.
The Aficio SP 8100DN and SP 9100DN were lauded for their "outstanding quality, reliability and security".
