Yesterday, I posted up the new Ricoh Wide format MP 7100/8140 brochure and briefly skimmed over the specs and features.  However, today I needed to print one off for a potential customer.  What I saw was a statement about the warranty.

 

I also then checked the recent brochure for the MP C306SP, and pulled the image below. Both the wide format and the MP C306SP states that there is a one year parts warranty.  I just checked the brochure for the MP C2003/2503 and there is no warranty notice like the one below.

 

Has Ricoh changed that all systems now have a one year warranty?  If so, since parts (except consumables) are covered for one year, has anyone had any direction from their service department or admin on how to handle this if the client brings up the one year warranty question.
