Ricoh named a ‘Market Leader’ in Managed Print Services, says Quocirca
Company earns high marks in market presence and completeness of offering
TOKYO, April 5, 2012 – Ricoh Company, Ltd., a worldwide leader in digital office equipment and advanced document management solutions and services, today announced it has been named an enterprise managed print services “market leader” in a new industry report by the Quocirca analyst firm.
On a one-to-five scale, with 5 signifying very strong, Ricoh scored a 4.67 in market presence and a 4.75 in completeness of offering according to the report, “Vendor Landscape: Managed Print Services.”
Quocirca, headquartered in the UK, describes market leaders as vendors that “lead the market in both strategic vision and depth of service offering. Leaders have made significant investments in their service portfolio and infrastructure and are supported by strong delivery capabilities.”
Ricoh’s MPS services are part of its Managed Document Services (MDS) business, which goes beyond MPS to address broad information management issues such as cost control, environmental sustainability, information security and governance, business process efficiency, organizational change management, information worker (iWorker) productivity, information optimization and strategic infrastructure. Ricoh MDS defines the services and deliverables that map directly to each concern to help customers achieve measurable and sustainable business outcomes.
