Maybe I'm missing something here, but in this scenario, we usually turn on user codes only for color and then set up one code and give that to the admin.

Users can copy and print in B&W all day with no codes, but cannot copy/print in color without the code.
If you do that, wouldn't it remove their ability to make other changes in the driver as well? Such as Duplexing and Stapling?

I agree with IT Dude, you could simply load a "MP6000" driver which doesn't have the color printing option.

Some enterprising person could always download their own MPC6000 driver and print directly to the printer, bypassing all of your restrictions.

The only solution that keeps that from happening is User Codes.
