Enhanced Printing Capabilities Allow Ricoh to Expand to New Market Segments
West Caldwell, NJ, May 27, 2003 -- Ricoh Corporation, the Dependable DigitalTM output company, today announced new Barcode and OCR product packages for SAP R/3-intended to broaden the capabilities of Ricoh's multifunction products (MFP) and laser printers for SAP customers. The new packages support a broad range of international barcode and OCR fonts.
"By adding barcode and OCR capabilities to our multi-function and laser printers, Ricoh is able to expand its product offerings to entirely new market segments," said Hede Nonaka, vice president of marketing for Ricoh Corporation. "Now retailers and manufacturers from any industry will be able to rely on Ricoh printers to print out crisp, accurate barcode and OCR fonts, allowing them to efficiently manage product inventory."
Two different packages are available for this solution - either DIMM Package or in an easily downloadable hard disk.
