The three new MFPs include the MP6503SP, 7503SP and 9003SP, which are said to “offer fast-paced businesses the opportunity to improve efficiency” as well as “effectively managing printing and energy costs”. The Smart MFPs are “designed for fast-paced businesses with non-stop print and document management requirements”, and feature “easy-to-use creative” elements for “better looking and more professional materials”.
A “Smart Operation Panel” allows for “easier than ever” operation, security integration, workflows and mobile device compatibility, and the OEM pointed out that the panel’s touchscreen technology allows for layout and content to “be tailored to suit the preferences” of users. Apps can also be installed to “extend the MFP’s capabilities”, and the machines also feature near-field communication (NFC), Bluetooth and wireless internet connectivity.
Each of the three machines features three finisher options, including a multi-folding unit that “can prepare documents in a huge variety of styles”. The 6503SP has a print speed of 65ppm, the 7503SP a speed of 75ppm and the 9003SP a speed of 90ppm, and all three printers have a “Human Detection Sensor”, so can “prepare for action when you approach”. The devices also have an eco-friendly sleep mode, and “include technology to minimise toner wastage”.
