Ricoh Europe PLC announces the launch of its new Business Driver programme, an exclusive package of business development services for Ricoh production printing customers in the commercial and corporate sectors. It includes an extranet which provides unique access to web-to-print services, white papers, e-learning, consulting services and Ricoh Professional Services. The content has been developed to provide practical insights and guidance that print service providers can harness as a key part of their business development strategy. It also provides opportunities to sign up to “try before you buy” initiatives and features the latest news and updates from Ricoh.

“At Ricoh, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide excellent services and support to our customers and help them in their drive to increase profitability,” says Graham Moore, Director, Business Development, Ricoh Europe Production Printing Business Group. “Our Business Driver programme is one more tool in our expansive portfolio, helping us to service our customers better. Particularly it is designed to provide tangible support for our customers in their drive to grow their digital print business. With its multi-faceted approach, we believe this valuable business tool will prove enormously useful.”

Ricoh customers within commercial and corporate printing environments who register for the Business Driver programme will gain access to a range of services and information that meets the specific needs of their type of operation. Information is relevant to different types of job functions; for example, business owner, senior manager, marketing, operations and design professional and the extranet is being made available in several languages.

”The tools and information on the Ricoh Business Driver extranet are contributed by Ricoh and leading independent industry experts. By making use of online voting, we can track in real-time the resources our customers are finding most valuable and use this information to plan future uploads to ensure that the portal continues to add significant value,” says Moore.

Business development takes time, a commodity that busy print service providers often run short of. The Ricoh Business Driver Programme saves times and can improve the quality and effectiveness of business development efforts by giving customers access to actionable information about the latest industry trends and technology. It also helps them to develop go-to-market strategies through either online resources or face-to-face consultancy, and enables the transition from print service provider to a value-added solutions provider, making Ricoh customers even more valuable to their customers

The Ricoh Business Driver Programme launches in the Netherlands from January 2010, with programmes in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Belgium to follow. Additional country launches are planned for February 2010. Each country will be offering their own range of business development services that meet the needs of their own national marketplace.
