Ricoh Corporation has aligned with high-end software companies at this year’s Comdex show.

The platform for all alliance technologies, Ricoh's GlobalScan software server, processes, manages and distributes hard copy documents in electronic form. Developed in particular for large organizations, GlobalScan is designed for document-intensive office environments integrating with existing mail infrastructures to boost workgroup productivity. In tandem, Ricoh and the alliance companies are working to improve workgroup collaboration by accelerating the document review process.
The corporations that Ricoh has aligned with include: Captaris - RightFax software; Captiva Software - InputAccel is a document capture system that transforms mission-critical data from paper and faxes into business-ready content; Documentum - A leading provider of enterprise content management; ExperVision – The TypeReader converts scanned images into electronic files; iManage – The iManage software provides comprehensive collaborative content management solutions; Kofax - The Ascent Capture platform for enterprise document and data capture; and OpenText - The Livelink solution a leading collaboration and knowledge management software.
