Ricoh, a workplace technology provider, has announced a partnership agreement with Logitech in an ongoing strategy aimed at providing customers with complimentary, integrated video platform services and solutions in support of empowering digital workplaces.

In bolstering its collaboration technology offerings, Ricoh will resell the Logitech range of audio visual equipment, including conferencing cameras - Meetup and PTZ Pro2 - as part of its portfolio of collaborative meeting room solutions.

Daniel Zoncapé, Strategic Partner Manager, Ricoh Australia, said, “We are 100 per cent committed to integrating and reselling best in class technologies as we believe that organisations should not have to compromise on product solution, performance, capacity, ease of use, or price. We’ve therefore built an ecosystem with strategic partners to provide Australian business and educational institutions with access to our innovative technology from trusted partner companies.

“The Logitech solutions are a perfect match for our business in complementing our vision of making information more mobile and more personal and enhancing the way people interact with the world around them, improving their work life. We look forward to working with Logitech and other world class companies to deliver industry leading solutions and are excited about taking this advanced technology to market here in Australia.

Logitech’s existing client base in Australia mirrors that of Ricoh locally and includes many of Australia’s major corporations and public sector organisations as well as small and medium size businesses.

In combining Ricoh’s solutions with Logitech, Ricoh is providing customers with superior functionality and performance as well as the convenience of a one-stop shop for digital collaboration.

“We are pleased that Ricoh Australia has agreed to this partnership,” said Jason Moss Head of Global Go-to-Market for Logitech’s video collaboration group. “By closely collaborating with Ricoh, we are able to offer a better user experience to our joint customers."

Damian Lepore, Managing Director – Logitech Australia & New Zealand, added, "We are excited to partner with Ricoh at this time, when Logitech is transforming video conferencing for every business and every space. A total solution is important for the digital workplace and this brings together the innovators in the industry.”

By connecting colleagues, customers and suppliers in a face-to-face environment, the Ricoh, Logitech solution supports organisations in their quest to increase workplace productivity and collaboration. At the same time, the ease-of-use, interoperability and high quality of this joint solution offering provides an ideal environment to drive innovative and creative teams, no matter where they are located.
