Ricoh Australia has restructured its executive team, with general managers of leasing, marketing and services all leaving the business last Friday.

An internal email seen by CRN revealed that general manager of service Nick Mills left after 13 years, general manager of finance David Berryman left after almost six years, and general manager of marketing and product strategy Joe Ciliberto left after a career with Ricoh and Lanier stretching back to 1997.

Ricoh is creating a new position of general manager of operations, into which service, supply chain and IMACD [installation, move, add, change, and disposal] will report, wrote managing director Andy Berry.

A Ricoh Australia spokesperson said in a statement to CRN that the restructure was the result of a review into the company's operations.

"The business continues to grow, winning market share in print equipment sales, production print and IT services revenue. However, following a review of the operations, the executive team is being restructured and three positions are being let go in the areas of finance, marketing and service.

"The restructure will enable us to streamline decision making, improve our agility and continue to focus on providing exceptional service and innovation for our Australian customer base."

Ricoh chief financial officer Mark Ewington also announced his retirement. Ewington joined Ricoh Thailand in 1999 as managing director and in July 2012, he moved to Australia as the company's financial director.

Ewington will continue with the company for the next three months as Ricoh recruits internally for the position.

In February, Ricoh appointed Andy Berry as managing director for the Australian business. Berry had previously worked for Xerox Global Services from 2001 to 2004 and for Fuji Xerox from 2005 until June 2014.

Ricoh is not alone among print vendors making reshuffling management. CRN revealed last month that several senior executives had exited from Fuji Xerox Australia.
