I'll make this quick because I'm going to do a blog on this for the weekend. I sold my church a new mfp a few months ago. My wife is the parish secretary, get this she receives a letter in the mail from Ricoh Americas Corp telling her that "the operations that support your account will transition to an updated operating system. As we make this transition, you will notice some adminstrative changes when interacting with us...."

The letter goes on to state that the phone number to contact them for service, order supplies or billing assistance will change and this is the new number!

The letter also states that if they have any questions please call them.

So, I'm trying to figure out how Ricoh new that my church had a new copier? Can't be Aficio League because we black out all of the information on the invoice and do not provide an address. My only other thought is that since I used NCPG that Ricoh is now culling the NCPG data base. If they are doing this with the NCPG, then they are probably doing the same with US Communities.

Has anyone else seen this, I will scan and post a copy of the Ricoh letter over the weekend.

It must be becuase they are registered as NCPG. Ricoh is updating thier Oracle systems this month so my guess is that this is an automatic letter being genereted and becuase they are listed as NCPG registered it kicked the letter out. Just a guess.

LANFax:

It's also US Communities snd probably any other program that requires the customer to register with a 3rd party for pricing promo.

Even though the letter is a mistake, what's to stop them from making a mistake in the future when their current lease expires.
