Hello all,

I’m having a bit of an issue with a Ricoh 2075. Our customer wants to be able to print to size 8x10.5 paper from tray 2. She’s able to get the printer to print one copy of a multiple copy job, but after that it refuses to print the rest of the job. The tray itself is set for 8x10.5 landscape and I’ve set that size into the machine under paper tray settings.

Using the RPCS driver and changing the original size of the paper to a custom size, as well as changing printout paper size to custom paper size 8x10.5 and changing the paper source tray to tray 2 results with the error “The paper size is not compatible wit the currently selected [Paper source tray]. Check the tray or paper size. Clicking [OK] enables the current settings despite the incompatibility. Clicking [Cancel] returns you to [Properties].” Clicking ok will result in one copy being printed, and then the job appears to disappear.

Using the RPCS driver I was able to duplicate the problem, but unable to resolve it. The customer doesn’t want to print using the bypass try, mainly due to the volume she wants to print and was told since there is a setting on the tray for that size paper that it should print. The problem is that on the driver (RPCS, PCL6, PCL5) there is no option for 8x10.5 paper and when telling the driver it’s a custom size it either tries to default print to the bypass, or when being told specifically to print to tray two, gives an error message on the machine.

Any help on this problem would be very much appreciated.
