We avoid using RBS for shipouts like the plague. However, I may be forced to use RBS for future installs for one of my accounts. The account wants to start buying off of the Vizient Contract (HealthCare GPO) which has terms written in such a way that independent dealers just will not except.

Can anyone tell me what that world looks like? Is it a Ricoh truck that delivers or is it a 3rd party trucking company? Is it functional on the network when they leave or does someone different have to come and do the install? Does a Salesrep or Customer Service Rep do the end-user training? To what degree will they mess with end-of-lease returns, especially non-Ricoh units?

I've heard stories of charges ($25) for service or supply requests that aren't entered on-line. Is this true?

I'm just trying to get a picture of what changes this customer will experience going from an independent dealer to RBS. These are nation-wide installations that have been performed by independent dealers up to now.

Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.

Unfortunately, they make perfect sense to the customer. 200+ A3 MFP's from Massachusetts to Texas.

What I was hoping to ascertain is a clear picture of what an RBS delivery, training, and maintenance experience is like so that I can adequately contrast that with the experience they are currently getting from dealers. I have half of the fleet currently. The others have been coming on board as leases expired.
